When I had my first exhibition with Suzanne to open her loft in Belleville in 2008, it was the best night of my life. It was a wonderful party, Suzanne made a grand entrance down the staircase in a black PVC cat suit and 8 inch stilettos, the champagne flowed, and for the first time I realised maybe I could live my life as an artist. Suzanne inspired my friends Le Gun and I to make crazy projects we would never have done without her, like an occult banquet for a giant black squid, and the worlds smallest speakeasy, Le Club des Cornichons, upstairs at the Café De Flore … We had many wild evenings together dancing on tables in the night spots of Paris, Brussels, Berlin and Cologne. Life was always an adventure with Suzanne. She was a beautiful force of nature, a brave and kind magician who believed in dreamers and helped their dreams come true. I loved her very much and I will miss her forever. I hope we will meet again somewhere in the universe. Sweet dreams my dear Suzanne xx
